About the role
- Design, implement, and optimize ETL processes to both our Snowflake environment as well as legacy SQL Server
- Create and maintain data models and databases that support analytical and reporting needs across all lines of business
- Develop and implement validity checks to monitor and assure data products meet quality thresholds for accuracy and reliability
- Work collaboratively within cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and document business expectations and needed deliverables
- Identify and resolve inefficiencies within production data pipelines
- Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation of architectures, processes, and systems
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience building data warehouses and business intelligence solutions.
- Strong relational database and dimensional modeling expertise
- Familiarity with ETL Tools and data integration techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of database technologies such as Microsoft SQL, PostgresSQL, or MongoDB
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure Data Services, or Databricks
- Working knowledge of version management processes and tooling such as git
- Excellent critical thinking skills and attention to detail
- Preferred Skills: Banking or other financial institution experience
- Experience with data quality tools and platforms such as DQ Labs
- Relevant certifications
