About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Organize, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of field and/or virtual appraisers.
Assign, monitor, and prioritize appraisal workloads to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and company objectives.
Conduct regular team meetings to share updates, resolve issues, and encourage engagement.
Review complex or high-value claims for estimate accuracy, policy compliance, and state regulatory adherence.
Implement and manage quality assurance programs to ensure consistent and accurate appraisals.
Stay current on repair laws, parts/materials pricing trends, and insurance industry best practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in auto claims or vehicle damage appraisals; 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
Proficiency with estimating software (CCC One, Audatex, Mitchell, etc.).
Strong knowledge of Florida-specific repair laws and insurance regulations.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel for in-person inspections (if applicable).
Industry certifications (I-CAR, ASE, etc.) a plus.
