About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support claims and legal teams with document review, file management, and compliance tracking
Draft legal documents including pleadings, discovery, motions, subpoenas, and settlement agreements
Conduct legal research related to insurance regulations, case law, and statutes
Coordinate with attorneys, claims professionals, and external partners on active matters
Assist with litigation activities including discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial prep
Track deadlines and ensure timely filings across multiple cases
Support settlement coordination and documentation
Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking clients, vendors, and stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bilingual (English/Spanish) – required
3+ years of Paralegal experience (insurance defense, P&C, or related field preferred)
Experience in Property Damage, Subrogation, and/or Bodily Injury claims or litigation
Strong understanding of Texas legal procedures and court systems
Paralegal certification (ABA-approved program preferred)
Highly organized with the ability to manage high-volume caseloads
Strong written/verbal communication and attention to detail
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
