Company overview: Founded in 1989, United Automobile Insurance Company is an innovative and established organization. Scope: As a Regional Sales Manager, responsible for generating revenue and meeting sales targets by establishing and maintaining relationships with existing agencies while acquiring new business. Candidate must be able to work from the West Palm Beach and Boca Raton, Florida area. Duties include initiating contact with independent agencies, identifying decision makers, understanding agency operations, assessing growth opportunities, positioning products, establishing commitments, conducting 16-20 unique in-person sales calls per week, allocating 1 hour per sales call, maintaining shared calendar, documenting visits within 24 hours.
Requirements
Associate degree in business, Communications, Marketing, a related field or equivalent work experience. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance 220 license preferred but not required.
3 years of proven experience in field sales or a related role with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Bilingual fluency preferred but not required: English and Spanish Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships. Strong presentation and negotiation skills. Familiarity with CRM software and sales-related technologies. Self-motivated, driven, and goal-oriented individual with a passion for sales. Willingness to travel 50% of the time within the assigned territory.
