About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Follow up with dealerships on automated decisioned loan applications to secure contracts and build lasting relationships
- Review and approve loans to ensure sales contracts align with program specifications
- Provide alternative solutions when necessary to meet lending guidelines
- Communicate with dealers, sales/marketing, and funders to collaborate on solutions
- Structure and restructure non-prime deals
- Evaluate credit reports, customer information, and application structures
- Make informed and profitable underwriting decisions
- Meet monthly production, quality, and customer satisfaction targets
- Assess creditworthiness and ensure contracts meet company standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Consumer auto finance or underwriting in financial services experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google G Suite, and Teams
- No certifications or licenses required
