About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Follow up with dealerships on automated decisioned loan applications to secure contracts and build lasting relationships
- Review and approve loans to ensure sales contracts align with program specifications
- Provide alternative solutions when necessary to meet lending guidelines
- Communicate with dealers, the sales/marketing team, and funders to collaborate on solutions
- Structure and restructure non-prime deals
- Evaluate credit reports, customer information, and application structures
- Make informed, profitable underwriting decisions
- Meet monthly production, quality, and customer satisfaction targets
- Review loan applications to assess creditworthiness and ensure contracts meet company standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Consumer auto finance or underwriting in financial services experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google G Suite, and Teams
- No certifications or licenses required
- Ability to review credit reports, customer information, and loan application structures
- Ability to make sound underwriting decisions based on credit analysis
- Ability to communicate and build relationships with dealerships and internal teams
