Area Sales Manager
United Auto Credit CorporationInternal Area Sales Manager at UACC responsible for signing and retaining dealership relationships while providing training and support. Growing market share through effective dealer engagement.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for signing, retaining, and expanding relationships with both independent and franchise dealerships within assigned territory
- Make 70 or more outbound calls and 2.5 hours or more talk time daily to dealers in assigned territories
- Sign 3 or more new dealers each month, providing training and support necessary for adoption of lending platform
- Engage with underperforming accounts to establish value and ensure ongoing partnership
- Provide short term coverage for external markets during times of vacancy
- Serve as a subject matter expert on all UACC programs, policies and ancillary products
- Work closely with credit, funding, titles and dealer compliance teams to resolve dealership issues within territory
- Provide best-in-class customer service to dealer customers, including 24/7 availability
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, remote office environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Must be able to work Saturdays as needed
- Self-motivated, high-energy, and engaging individual
- Above average work ethic and drive with the ability to work independently
- High level of objectivity with openness to feedback and change
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Previous experience in a challenging sales role preferred but not mandatory
- Auto finance, dealership or other sales experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Prior experience working remotely is highly preferred.
