About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides ongoing Systems Administration support, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, applications, and connectivity components for Linux environments.
- Remediation of daily incident tickets, system compliance, system run enhancement, testing, staging, policy/procedure enhancement, client contact coordination, and operational recommendations to address availability and reliability issues on Linux systems.
- Administers development, test and production servers, including reloading, re-imaging and debugging problems.
- Installs, removes, and upgrades software packages on test, development, and production servers.
- Daily monitoring of network systems, proactively ensuring functionality, connectivity, and load balance.
- Troubleshoots systems and host environments, identifying and resolving faults, inconsistencies, and systemic issues.
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working expertise in Linux systems administration.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- U.S. Citizenship and U.S. residency required.
