About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Architect, implement, and optimize enterprise WLAN solutions including site surveys (passive/active/predictive)
- Design and support broader network infrastructures (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN)
- Diagnose and resolve complex wireless issues including RF interference, roaming problems, coverage gaps, and client connectivity
- Lead client-facing engagements, delivering wireless assessments, RF reports, heatmaps, and project presentations
- Drive wireless network and security projects in collaboration with global teams and vendors, ensuring successful delivery in mission-critical environments
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4–6 years of experience in enterprise wireless networking, including design, deployment, and support
- CWNA (Certified Wireless Network Administrator) — vendor-neutral wireless expertise and/or CCNP/CCIE – Wireless
- Deep knowledge of 802.11 standards (Wi-Fi 5/Wi-Fi 6/6E), RF fundamentals, spectrum analysis, and wireless security protocols (WPA3, 802.1X/EAP, RADIUS)
- Hands-on experience with Cisco WLC and Cisco Meraki wireless management
- Experience with wireless security frameworks including rogue detection, WIPS/WIDS, and guest network segmentation
- Proficient in cloud and network management platforms: SolarWinds, ServiceNow, Infoblox, and similar tools
- Strong grasp of network monitoring, performance baselining, and wireless optimization techniques
- Familiarity with ITIL service management frameworks
- Ability to work in 24x7 critical environments, including on-call availability outside regular business hours and weekends
- Strong presentation and reporting skills, ability to communicate RF data, heatmaps, and wireless assessments to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field (Telecommunications, Computer Science, or equivalent)
