About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Java / Java EE development and frameworks (Spring, JSF, EJB, JPA, Hibernate);
  • Corporate software architecture, including SOA, microservices, containers;
  • Design patterns and Enterprise Integration Patterns;
  • Multi-tenant architectures;
  • System integration (REST, Web Services, JMS, Service Bus);
  • Advanced data modeling, complex SQL and high-performance tuning;
  • Continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) at scale;
  • Advanced automated testing, TDD, ATDD, load, performance and vulnerability testing;
  • Code quality, continuous refactoring and inspection using tools like SonarQube;
  • Application security (OWASP, authentication, authorization, LDAP, etc.);
  • Experience with high-performance systems, large data volumes and transactions;
  • Work in critical and mission-essential environments;
  • Agile methodologies, with a technical leadership role within the team;
  • Act as a technical and architectural reference;
  • Ability to define technical standards and guide strategic decisions;
  • Technical mentoring for Junior, Mid and Senior developers;
  • Clear communication with technical and business stakeholders;
  • Proactivity in mitigating technical risks;
  • Strong analytical skills and decision-making in critical scenarios.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience working as a Java Analyst/Developer on high-complexity IT solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in progress or completed in Information Technology with a minimum workload of 360 hours; or a Bachelor's degree in any field plus postgraduate study (specialization, master's or doctorate) in IT with a minimum workload of 360 hours.
  • Mandatory certifications: Oracle Certified Professional – Java SE Programmer (version 5 or higher).
