Conduct needs analysis, define learning objectives, design instructional strategies, and select delivery methods (e-learning, instructor-led, blended) using adult learning theory and best practices
Create storyboards, scripts, graphics, animations, videos, and other multimedia elements
Author eLearning courses ensuring SCORM and Section 508 compliance
Develop supporting course materials and assets; create new courses and maintain existing courses
Manage administration and maintenance of the LMS: upload courses, assign learners, track progress, generate reports, and troubleshoot issues
Ensure learning solutions follow Section 508 accessibility standards and inclusive design best practices
Apply project management principles to plan, execute, monitor, and evaluate learning projects ensuring on-time, on-budget, quality delivery
Collaborate with cross-functional partners and SMEs to produce consistent course materials that support learning outcomes and elevate learner competencies
Evaluate effectiveness of learning solutions and provide recommendations for improvement
Work directly with clients and, when required, work onsite to implement and operate Unison software products and services
Requirements
At least 2 years of proven experience in instructional systems design, preferably in a corporate or government setting
Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate)
Proficiency in graphic design and multimedia tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Camtasia)
Experience administering and managing an LMS (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas, Absorb LMS)
Strong project management and business acumen skills to balance multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of Section 508 and accessibility standards and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and collaboratively
A portfolio of work samples demonstrating instructional design, eLearning authoring, multimedia, and graphic design skills
Bachelor's degree or higher preferred in instructional design, educational technology, or related field
