About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Development of future-oriented and profitable property insurance products
  • Further development and enhancement of existing property insurance products
  • Ongoing market monitoring and market analyses
  • Ensuring the profitability of in-force products (portfolio management, remediation/re-underwriting, etc.)
  • Supporting IT with the technical implementation and maintenance of property insurance products (requirements specification, testing, etc.)
  • Close collaboration (both at project level and in day-to-day operations) with all relevant stakeholders (sales/distribution, claims, legal, etc.)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Relevant education (university degree and/or apprenticeship in business and/or insurance)
  • Several years of experience in property insurance as a product manager and/or in underwriting within the insurance environment
  • Good knowledge of UNIQA's product portfolio and common market products is an advantage
  • Strong IT affinity
  • Ideally, knowledge of UNIQA's policy administration/in-force management systems
  • Team player with strong communication skills and adherence to deadlines
  • Self-initiative and willingness to learn
  • Openness to new situations
  • Strong implementation skills and a hands-on mentality; high self-motivation and ability to self-manage
  • Good communication skills (very good German and English, written and spoken)
