About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Together with experienced business analysts and software developers, you develop IT solutions for our business (UNIQA Insurance)
You work closely with the business units and translate business requirements into IT solutions
You accompany requirements throughout the entire lifecycle – from requirements elicitation through effort estimation, solution design, prototyping, testing and documentation to rollout
You perform impact and root cause analyses in complex system landscapes
You take ownership of requirements across the full lifecycle and support prioritization and coordination within the agile setup (e.g., with Product Owners)
You contribute to the maintenance and further development of existing and new products
Your focus is on OMDS 3.0 services
You act as an interface to internal clients consuming web services and support internal and external partners with solution integration

Requirements

What you’ll need

Very good communication skills in German and English
Ideally a degree in Information Technology or a comparable qualification
At least 3 years of relevant professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a comparable role, preferably in the financial or insurance industry
Experience in technical solution discussions with development teams and an understanding of interfaces and technologies such as SOAP, REST and JSON
Initial experience with JIRA and Confluence as well as basic database knowledge (e.g., SQL)
Motivation, strong organizational skills and a very good understanding of group-wide business and IT processes
Good knowledge of requirements engineering principles as well as web and microservices
