About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Together with experienced business analysts and software developers, you develop IT solutions for our business (UNIQA Insurance)
  • You work closely with the business units and translate business requirements into IT solutions
  • You accompany requirements throughout the entire lifecycle – from requirements elicitation through effort estimation, solution design, prototyping, testing and documentation to rollout
  • You perform impact and root cause analyses in complex system landscapes
  • You take ownership of requirements across the full lifecycle and support prioritization and coordination within the agile setup (e.g., with Product Owners)
  • You contribute to the maintenance and further development of existing and new products
  • Your focus is on OMDS 3.0 services
  • You act as an interface to internal clients consuming web services and support internal and external partners with solution integration

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Very good communication skills in German and English
  • Ideally a degree in Information Technology or a comparable qualification
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a comparable role, preferably in the financial or insurance industry
  • Experience in technical solution discussions with development teams and an understanding of interfaces and technologies such as SOAP, REST and JSON
  • Initial experience with JIRA and Confluence as well as basic database knowledge (e.g., SQL)
  • Motivation, strong organizational skills and a very good understanding of group-wide business and IT processes
  • Good knowledge of requirements engineering principles as well as web and microservices
