About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist with day-to-day accounting (accounts payable and accounts receivable, bank postings)
Fixed asset accounting (invoice capitalization, depreciation runs, analysis, reporting)
Master data management
Intercompany balance reconciliations
Processing e-banking transactions
Execution and control of payment runs
Reconciliations (e.g., accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger accounts)
Providing service to business units and responding to inquiries from other areas
Support for monthly and year-end closings
Optimization and further development of existing accounting processes and systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed commercial/business education (e.g., HAS, HAK) or equivalent qualification
Accounting and basic financial reporting knowledge
Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in a corporate/group environment or at a tax advisory or auditing firm
User knowledge of SAP FI desirable
Strong IT and numerical aptitude, particularly good MS Office skills
Strong commercial/business acumen and high numerical affinity
Accurate, systematic and quality-oriented working style
Reliability with regard to deadlines and a strong sense of responsibility
Very good English and German skills, both spoken and written
