About the role
- Manage and prioritize the Release Train backlog in close collaboration with Product Management
- End-to-end control of delivery at the interfaces with internal and external partners
- Plan, facilitate and execute PI Plannings including KPI monitoring and reporting
- Lead and coordinate supporting Release Train Engineers (RTEs)
- Organize and lead architecture and design meetings
- Estimate effort together with the architecture team to support investment decisions
- Build, budget and further develop agile teams to implement roadmaps and backlogs
- Drive improvement of Release Train processes and actively contribute to the RTE chapter
- Risk management and proactive removal of impediments for all teams
- Responsible for a Release Train comprising 8–10 agile teams
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience as a Program Manager or Release Train Engineer (RTE), ideally in a SAFe environment
- At least 10 years of experience in the IT sector, preferably within financial services
- Strong negotiation skills, assertiveness and excellent communication abilities
- Enjoy driving initiatives forward and empowering teams
- High level of initiative, commitment and the ability to motivate and advance teams
- Experience leading international and distributed teams
- Excellent German and English language skills
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) from a university or University of Applied Sciences
