About the role

  • Responsible for procurement category management in the IT Infrastructure & Telecommunications sub-category — including development of sourcing strategy and alignment with internal stakeholders
  • Independently manage sourcing processes (e.g., RFIs, RFPs, contract renewals) — from requirements gathering to contract signature
  • Lead contract negotiations and actively manage supplier relationships
  • Ensure transparent procurement and supplier selection processes
  • Ensure compliance with legal, risk-related and regulatory requirements throughout the sourcing and contracting process
  • Contribute to company-wide projects (e.g., DORA, CSDDD)

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in category management and/or strategic procurement
  • University degree (e.g., Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field)
  • Solid subject-matter expertise in the relevant area (e.g., IT architecture, software, IT services)
  • Proven track record of delivering cost savings
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and manage stakeholders in a cross-functional environment
  • Experience with SAP Ariba or similar e-procurement systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence or a strong affinity for AI topics is advantageous
  • Excellent German and English language skills
