About the role
- You will lead our accounting team and ensure that our projects are recorded in compliance with financial regulations.
- You will maintain oversight of all accounting processes and continuously develop them together with your team.
- You are responsible for proper accounting in accordance with commercial and tax law requirements — from accounts payable and receivable to cash accounting and dunning procedures.
- You will coordinate invoicing, review incoming and outgoing payments, and serve as the central contact for internal departments, external service providers, partners, insurers, as well as auditors and tax advisors.
- In addition, you are responsible for the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and will be in regular contact with the finance departments of our international offices.
Requirements
- Completed commercial training or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in accounting / finance, ideally in project-based business
- Initial practical leadership experience
- Confident user of MS Office and a strong affinity for ERP systems (ideally experience with Deltek Workbook)
- Structured, solution-oriented working style and the ability to maintain an overview even during dynamic project phases
- Strong communication skills, team orientation and a high sense of responsibility
- Very good German and English skills
