About the role

  • Develop wind energy projects from identifying suitable sites and acquiring land through to preparing the site concept
  • Negotiate and conclude land agreements (usage, lease or purchase contracts)
  • Establish contact with municipalities, land managers and landowners
  • Contract management and oversight of properties
  • Attend municipal council meetings and relevant events
  • Networking and association activities in the region
  • Commission specialist reports from external consultants
  • Present the project to municipalities, owners and other project stakeholders
  • Prepare and support private-law site-securement measures in cooperation with the Real Estate/Property team
  • Coordinate all internal and external project partners

Requirements

  • Degree in Geography, Spatial Planning, Engineering or a related field, or demonstrable several years of professional experience and practical competence in this area
  • Several years of experience in early project planning or sales, ideally in a comparable role within renewable energy or real estate
  • Strong communication skills, empathy and negotiating ability
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility
  • Knowledge of contract and property/land law is an advantage
  • Identification with renewable energy and a high willingness to travel
  • Driver's license (Class B)
  • Business-fluent German
