About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and communicate Uniper's equity story to target audiences
  • Communicate with relevant capital market participants, including buy-side and sell-side analysts and institutional investors
  • Promote transparency and appropriate expectations regarding business development and strategy
  • Provide outside-in analyses, including peer benchmarks, for Uniper decision-makers
  • Participate in internal decision-making processes and projects, including strategy and financial reporting
  • Prepare capital market presentations and speeches for the board
  • Prepare and deliver capital market events with the board, including analyst calls, international roadshows, capital markets days, and deep dives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's degree in business administration, economics, or a comparable university degree with an economics background
  • At least three years of professional experience in investor relations, strategy, or a comparable controlling, finance, or accounting function in a listed company
  • High interest in and good knowledge of capital markets
  • Good knowledge of corporate valuation and financial reporting, including multiples, DCF, P&L analysis, and cash flow
  • Ability to work and present effectively across internal corporate interfaces and hierarchy levels
  • Sound knowledge of the energy sector and/or ESG topics, with a high willingness to learn
  • Creativity in translating strategic, financial, and operational facts into capital-market-oriented messages and presentations
  • Very good MS Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent English skills
  • Communication and presentation skills, confident external appearance, persuasiveness, commitment, and enthusiasm
  • Willingness to travel for business, including roadshows and conferences
  • Sense of humor
