About the role

  • Take on a key role in the development of the NorthStarH2 project
  • Drive the project across technical, commercial, schedule and cost dimensions
  • Contribute to the broader development of project structures and ways of working within the organization
  • Lead communication and reporting towards steering committees, senior management and key stakeholders
  • Act as Uniper’s senior representative for site-related matters
  • Lead early-phase site development including feasibility studies, land use, zoning and environmental assessments
  • Manage and coordinate local service providers including surveys, geotechnical and environmental investigations
  • Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with local authorities, landowners, communities and other key stakeholders

Requirements

  • University degree in engineering or science (e.g. civil, mechanical, electrical or equivalent)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in senior project management roles within energy, chemical, process industry, oil & gas, power generation or large-scale infrastructure
  • Proven experience of leading large, complex, multi-stakeholder projects with full delivery responsibility
  • Experience from early-phase project development and/or greenfield projects is highly valued
  • Experience of working across different regulatory environments and in collaboration with authorities
  • Solid understanding of project governance, risk management and commercial interfaces
  • Experience of managing contractors, partners and external service providers
  • Business fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel regularly and increase on-site presence in northern Sweden as the project progresses.
