About the role
- Technical and disciplinary leadership (promotion / development) of a team of up to 10 employees within the power plant organization
- Subsequent assumption of duties as the site’s responsible electrical specialist (after onboarding)
- Cross-departmental support of electrical engineering tasks and projects
- Analysis and optimization of processes
- Participation and responsibility in the area of energy management
- Ensuring plant reliability
- Compliance with regulatory requirements and permits
- Participation in related audits
- Participation in projects at this site
Requirements
- Diploma or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Power Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Professional experience in manufacturing plants, electrical supply technology / grid infrastructure, or comparable operations with a focus on electrical supply desirable
- Initial leadership experience is an advantage
- Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work across departments and the organization
- Willingness and ability to initiate, drive and support change processes – change management
- Participation in an engineering on-call rota (approx. every 7 weeks)
- Knowledge / experience in electrical engineering across various voltage levels and/or electrical engineering projects
- Willingness to qualify for deployment in the plant fire brigade (optional)
- Fluent German language skills
- Good English skills, spoken and written
