About the role
- Operation of the power ring network, including issuing, executing and supervising switching operations
- Coordination and execution of switching operations with interconnected partners
- Operation and supervision of steam distribution networks, district heating networks, low-pressure air networks and the distribution network for demineralized (fully desalinated) water
- Optimization of contracted power plants’ deployment and the economic operation of interconnected systems in accordance with contracts
- Preparation of operating documentation, reporting, billing, statistics and customer coordination
- Incident management for process control systems
- Monitoring and control of new technologies (e.g., balancing energy management systems integrating decentralized assets)
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Alternatively, master craftsman / technician qualification with relevant professional experience
- Technical expertise in control and process engineering
- 35 kV switching authorization desirable
- Very good German language skills, written and spoken
- Good English skills
- Analytical ability
