About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Extract the dashboard report and analyze the status of authorizations to define the manager's work assignments;
  • Analyze the regulation workflow and the distribution of authorizations, working to reduce backlogs and improve turnaround times in an organized manner;
  • Monitor and ensure authorization deadlines are met;
  • Verify the operational controls of the regulation unit's processes, including registration and development of action plans;
  • Support and resolve operational demands that hinder the flow of audit processes;
  • Identify rules within the audit process to increase detection of cost-saving and optimization opportunities;
  • Perform operational tasks using Unimed Porto Alegre and Unimed System information tools and systems;
  • Promote and deliver training across the area;
  • Authorize, deny, or request documents required to finalize requests;
  • Ensure compliance with court injunctions within defined deadlines;
  • Initiate and respond to contact with internal and external stakeholders related to the process, aiming to enable alignment and problem resolution within the cooperative and the Unimed system;
  • Interact with other audit professionals (physicians, nurses, administrative staff, pharmacists, social workers, speech therapists and psychologists) and related areas (Intercâmbio, GRPS, Call Center, member relations, etc.);
  • Analyze and validate system denials (glosas) according to payment/non-payment rules;
  • Conduct audits to identify alignment opportunities in the processes of providers, cooperative members, suppliers and other Unimeds, and promote their training.
