About the role
- Reconcile low-complexity balance sheet accounts (assets and liabilities), verifying accounting balances and supporting reports to validate balances;
- Review expenses incurred during the period, verify supporting documentation, and compare them with the related contract/purchase order;
- Reconcile cash and bank accounts by comparing analytical ledger entries with amounts shown on bank statements;
- Analyze expenses and the trial balance to identify significant variances and provide justifications;
- Support internal and external audits;
- Verify correct remittance of social contributions by checking payment slips and recorded amounts;
- Perform other related duties as required and directed by the immediate supervisor, when applicable.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting;
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel;
- Knowledge of accounting routines and reconciliations;
- Analytical skills and critical thinking;
- Comfortable with systems and digital tools.
