About the role
- Analyze purchase requests, prioritizing based on need, deadlines, and quality;
- Obtain quotes and negotiate with suppliers, defining price, lead time, and terms;
- Record purchasing processes in the system and monitor orders until delivery;
- Monitor deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and manage returns or warranties;
- Manage supplier registration, evaluation, and ongoing relationships;
- Monitor the market and price fluctuations and evaluate the cost‑benefit of purchases;
- Prepare management reports and provide feedback to support decision-making;
- Ensure proper recordkeeping and compliance with internal policies;
- Support and guide the team and collaborate with other departments;
- Identify process improvements and act in emergency situations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree completed;
- Knowledge of negotiation and procurement processes;
- Experience or knowledge in acquiring MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations), with a focus on services;
- Knowledge of supplier management and evaluation;
- Skills in cost analysis and decision-making;
- Familiarity with purchasing systems/ERP.
