About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the BU level Digital, Data & AI strategy, aligned to BG CDIO direction and BU growth priorities.
- Identify where technology can materially accelerate BU strategy, productivity, growth or margin.
- Translate ambition into a clear, sequenced roadmap with explicit value and outcome measures.
- Reduce complexity by leveraging existing platforms and enterprise solutions.
- Act as the single point of accountability for BU demand prioritisation across Tech, Digital, Data and AI.
- Shape investment choices, trade offs and sequencing in partnership with Global Data and Technology and BU leadership teams.
- Track, communicate and course correct value delivery across the portfolio.
- Drive rationalisation and decommissioning decisions where appropriate.
- Serve as the primary Digital & Technology advisor to BU leadership, operating as a peer at senior forums.
- Proactively surface opportunities, risks and dependencies impacting BU outcomes.
- Act as first line escalation point for BU level technology issues and decisions.
- Lead adoption and change management for GDT capabilities within the BU.
- Ensure solutions are landed, embedded and used — not just delivered.
- Build strong change and analytics capability connecting business opportunities, insights and tools.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Senior experience in business‑facing digital / technology leadership within complex, matrixed organisations.
- Strong technical acumen in at least 2 Product Domains and proven track record of landing large‑scale digital or data‑led transformations with measurable business impact.
- Strong commercial and business acumen, ideally within CPG or adjacent consumer industries.
- Demonstrated ownership of portfolio prioritisation, value tracking and executive stakeholder management.
- Deep experience leading adoption and change at scale.
- Strong influencer who connects strategy, people and execution
- Experience working with senior stakeholders (WL4/5+ equivalent) across geographies , able to drive alignment of where to play digital strategies and how to win plans.
- Proven track record of developing and sustaining high performing teams responsible for change management, adoption and strong partnering.
