About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and govern the target architecture across Enterprise and Operations domains
- Ensure standardization, simplification, and scalability of the application landscape
- Establish and enforce architecture principles and guardrails covering security, data protection, and regulatory compliance
- Define and operate the Technical Design Authority (TDA) as the governing body for architecture decisions
- Drive build-versus-buy decisions and technology selection
- Own the strategy and roadmap for LIS, RIS, imaging, ERP, finance, enterprise, and core operational systems
- Drive platform consolidation, modernization, and application rationalization
- Ensure systems support clinical, operational, and regulatory requirements
- Govern architecture across Microsoft, clinical, operational, integration, and data platforms
- Define and drive enterprise integration strategy using API-first, event-driven, and interoperability standards
- Partner with Value Delivery peers to translate business demand into scalable technology solutions
- Ensure architectural integrity and TDA governance for major programs including LIS modernization, OneERP, ERP, and AI enablement
- Drive technology simplification, cost efficiency, and adoption of AI-driven capabilities
- Lead global and in-market architecture governance and technical decision-making
- Drive strategic vendor selection and partnerships and manage technical dependencies across the multi-vendor ecosystem
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in enterprise architecture leadership in complex, multi-country environments
- Strong exposure to healthcare systems, including LIS, RIS, and imaging
- Strong exposure to enterprise platforms, including the Microsoft ecosystem, ERP, and finance systems
- Experience with integration platforms, including HL7/FHIR, APIs, and middleware
- Track record in large-scale transformation and platform consolidation
- Strong stakeholder management at executive level
- Pragmatic, outcome-driven approach balancing standardization, cost, and business needs
