About the role
- Manage and prioritize the CEO’s calendar, inbox, and communications with precision
- Draft and edit internal or external communications (emails, memos, decks, investor notes)
- Coordinate meetings across internal and external stakeholders, from board members to customers
- Organize travel, offsites, and special events end-to-end
- Partner on company operations projects (executive meetings, OKRs, board prep, fundraising logistics)
- Anticipate needs and clear bottlenecks so the CEO can focus on high-leverage work
- Take ownership of follow-through on key decisions and ensure accountability across teams
- Maintain confidential information and handle sensitive information with judgment and professionalism
- Own special projects that don’t have a clear functional home (e.g., office expansions, recruiting programs, leadership offsites)
- Serve as a trusted thought partner and culture carrier for the executive team
Requirements
- 3–7 years of EA experience supporting a Founder, CEO, or C-level executive in a high-growth and intensity environment (consulting, VC, finance, etc)
- Strong written communication skills; you can draft crisp, polished messages on behalf of leadership
- Comfort with ambiguity; you see chaos as an opportunity to bring order
- High EQ and a team-first mindset; you build trust quickly and collaborate well across functions
- Proven ability to operate with urgency and calm under pressure; you move fast but rarely drop balls
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills with a strong attention to detail
- Discretion and integrity in handling sensitive and confidential information
