About the role
- Develop and execute a comprehensive plan to understand the financial ecosystem.
- Collaborate with the Government of Sindh (GoS) to improve public schemes.
- Develop working groups with banks and microfinance institutions to enhance access to credit.
- Provide coordination with government and private sector stakeholders for financial service platforms.
- Establish online investment promotion platforms with relevant government institutions.
- Organize business-to-business (B2B) events and campaigns to link businesses with investors.
- Provide technical content and input for the corporate sector grant window.
- Hold information sessions and meetings for potential corporate sector partners.
- Organize training sessions and knowledge-sharing events for partners and grantees.
- Draft final reports and prepare progress reports for leadership, donors, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Advanced university degree (master’s or equivalent) in Banking and Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Development Studies, or a related field is required.
- At least five (5) years of professional experience in banking, access to finance, private sector engagement, investment facilitation, or grant management is required.
- Experience in designing and managing financial instruments and products, such as credit guarantees, blended finance, or impact investments, is required.
- Experience in engaging corporate stakeholders and financial institutions to co-invest in development initiatives, is required.
- Strong understanding of grant mechanisms, fund disbursement strategies, and due diligence processes, is required.
- Demonstrated ability to work with donor-funded programs and international development organizations, is required.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
- Fluency and/or working knowledge of Urdu is required.
