About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Proactively monitor systems and applications, identifying patterns and anomalies
- Configure and tune monitoring items, alerts and basic dashboards in observability tools
- Analyze logs to support incident diagnosis
- Record and track incidents in ServiceNow, escalating those beyond your scope
- Collaborate with support, operations and development teams to resolve issues
- Act proactively to prevent risks and outages
- Maintain technical documentation and prepare basic performance and availability reports
- Propose improvements to optimize processes and the use of monitoring solutions
- Execute and monitor batch routines, scheduled jobs and corporate processing flows
- Handle known failures according to operational procedures
- Monitor system integrations and file exchanges with partners
- Perform controlled reprocessings with consistency and traceability.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Knowledge of monitoring/observability (e.g., Zabbix, Grafana, Dynatrace)
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow or similar)
- Logical thinking, log reading and basic SQL
- Strong communication skills for escalation and documentation
- Curious and versatile profile, willing to work across different operational areas
- Availability for rotation/on-call shifts
- Understanding of batch routines and schedulers (e.g., Control-M, AutoSys, cron)
- Scripting (Shell/Python)
- Basic knowledge of ITIL
- Knowledge of integrations and file exchange methods (SFTP, APIs)
- Knowledge of the financial sector / credit cooperatives.
