About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain clear daily communication with the team and actively participate in the discovery/design and testing process, assisting the team with issues and questions that may arise
Conduct functional, regression and exploratory tests (both automated and manual) to ensure software quality
Develop and maintain automated tests
Identify, report and track the status of nonconformities found during testing, ensuring they are resolved
Collaborate with the team to understand requirements and ensure the software meets them
Contribute to continuous improvement of the quality process by proposing and implementing enhancements to processes and tools
Actively participate in the team's agile ceremonies
Keep test documentation up to date and accessible to team members
Monitor market trends and best practices in software testing and propose adoption of new approaches and techniques when applicable
Actively participate in the Quality Technical Group, sharing knowledge and proposing improvements that foster innovation and the evolution of quality.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Create test plans, specifications and execute tests using BDD (Behavior-Driven Development)
Test automation in Python
Agile methodologies
Requirements analysis
REST API testing
Mobile testing
Web application testing
Familiarity with different types of testing: regression, exploratory, functional
Experience developing automated tests
Git
Relational databases - SQL Server
Java
Test frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, Rest Assured
Performance testing (JMeter, Locust, Gatling)
Familiarity with CI/CD concepts, continuous integration and pipelines (Azure DevOps)
