About the role

  • Perform the calculation and determination of federal and municipal taxes such as LALUR, IOF, IRRF, ISS, IRPJ, CSLL, ensuring correct compliance with tax obligations; validate withholdings on services received by the cooperatives and the Central.
  • Prepare and submit tax filings and declarations, such as DIRF, DCTF MENSAL, DCTFWEB, ECD, ECF, EFD Contribuições, EFD-Reinf, ITR, ISS, COSIF, among others, within established deadlines.
  • Issue payment slips and reconcile federal and municipal taxes in accordance with applicable rules and deadlines.
  • Manage ancillary tax obligations, maintaining control over filings and ensuring all deadlines are met and documentation is in order.
  • Respond to and provide support for municipal, state, and federal notices and summons, presenting necessary documentation and clarifying inquiries from the competent authorities.
  • Validate withholdings on services received by the cooperatives and the Central.
  • Analyze and study new legislation and process flows related to new products; validate and configure revenue and expense accounts such as Ato Cooperativo (Cooperative Act) and Ato Não Cooperativo (Non-Cooperative Act), as defined by the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service (Receita Federal).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (completed or in progress).
  • Knowledge of Complementary Law 116/2013 and COSIF.
  • Knowledge of municipal and federal legislation.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of the tax regime for Cooperative Financial Institutions is a plus.
