About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Tekton and GitHub Actions
- Manage and optimize containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (with a focus on OpenShift)
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for scalable and repeatable environments
- Oversee secret management solutions (e.g., HashiCorp Vault) to ensure secure handling of sensitive data
- Manage certificate lifecycle, including issuance, renewal, and revocation
- Support and improve system networking and infrastructure reliability
- Implement monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing to ensure system observability and performance
- Collaborate with Development and Architecture teams to enable efficient and secure application delivery
- Embed security best practices into the SDLC (Secure SDLC and Security by Design principles)
- Develop and enforce compliance controls, policies, and automation mechanisms
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Automation Architecture, and/or CI/CD Engineering
- Strong experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, ideally with OpenShift
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Tekton, GitHub Actions preferred)
- Knowledge of secret management tools such as HashiCorp Vault
- Understanding of certificate management and PKI concepts
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, or similar)
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (metrics, logs, traces)
- Strong understanding of secure SDLC practices and security-by-design principles
- Experience with compliance frameworks and automated policy enforcement would be a plus
- Familiarity with service meshes and advanced Kubernetes networking would be an advantage
- Experience working in regulated environments would be a plus
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Developers, Security, and Architecture teams
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Proactive approach to improving systems and processes
- Excellent command of the English language (verbal & written)
