About the role
- On-site support for the assigned W.EG distribution centers and the logistics partners used for deliveries (including during overnight transfer/handling processes)
- Monitoring and optimizing processes in the distribution centers
- Tracking ready-for-delivery shipments and processing returns
- Route planning and optimization according to requirements, while complying with legal regulations
- Acting as a liaison between sales, logistics and forwarders/carriers
- Participating in logistics projects
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in logistics, preferably as a Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk (Kaufmann für Spedition und Logistikdienstleistung)
- Experience in distribution logistics
- Responsible, reliable and goal-oriented working style
- High degree of independence
- Confident demeanor and excellent communication skills
- Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office; initial experience with the transport management system CADIS is an advantage
- Fluent in German, both written and spoken
- Willingness to work varying hours (approx. 60% night work starting at 00:00) and to travel to the respective distribution centers
