About the role

  • Support UIL in advancing lifelong learning policies and practices at national and local levels.
  • Develop knowledge and training resources.
  • Facilitate national and regional engagement.
  • Provide technical feedback on country outputs.
  • Support the dissemination of key resources related to the Greening Communities Guide.
  • Coordinate the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities (GNLC) ESD Working Group.

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree (masters) in education, social sciences, development studies or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the field of education/LLL policy and capacity-building.
  • Previous work experience in designing online and in-person training for policymakers.
  • Familiarity with ESD and RVA in different countries.
  • Proven experience in collaborating on international projects in the field of education.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
  • Fluency in Spanish (both written and spoken).
