About the role

  • Build, drive, and oversee internal communications strategy, and internal brand voice.
  • Proven experience leading and managing high performing teams, with a collaborative, solutions focused leadership style.
  • Highly organized and dependable, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, brand standards, and strict deadlines.
  • Demonstrated resilience and adaptability in fast paced, rapidly changing environments and shifting client demands.
  • Deep expertise across the full post production workflow, including editing, motion graphics, and sound design, with the ability to execute quick turn video projects.
  • Plan and execute video shoots, including location scouting, lighting setups, audio capture, and camera operation.
  • Shoot a wide range of content including brand & product storytelling, athlete features, training content, events, and social-first video.
  • Strong understanding of social media content formats, trends, and platform best practices.
  • Experience partnering closely with C suite executives and other high profile stakeholders.
  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to distill complex concepts into clear, engaging, and inspiring content.
  • Responsible for overseeing production equipment inventory, ensuring proper maintenance, handling, and operational readiness.
  • Responsive, efficient, and able to balance flexibility with assertiveness when managing priorities and stakeholder expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with typically 8 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with typically 6 years of relevant experience or typically 12 years of relevant work experience without degree
  • Strong ability to prioritize and provide counsel to internal partners.
  • Direct experience building brands.
  • Excellent verbal communicator and strong editor to create compelling messaging and narratives, (minus the corporate-speak).
  • You’re a strong writer and storyteller who can distill complex concepts, craft a compelling narrative, and build an emotional connection.
  • You are adaptable and humble, willing to take on projects big and small.
  • Possess top-notch interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working and editing within digital and print mediums.
  • Collaborative, solutions focused, organized, true to deadlines, helpful in attitude, and resilient in the face of ever-changing client demands.
  • Responsive and efficient - ability to organize and manage multiple projects to meet quality/brand standards & deadlines; be flexible but assertive.
