About the role
- Lead end-to-end management of new store builds, remodels, relocations, expansions, and special projects across North America’s DTC portfolio.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans aligned with Under Armour’s brand and operational standards through UA identified project management tools and software.
- Communicate project status, risks, and solutions clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
- Collaborate and ensure seamless coordination with internal teams (Real Estate, Store Design & Development, Operations, Visual Merchandising, Marketing) and external partners to execute projects that meet business objectives and adhere to Under Armour’s Global Store Design Concepts and standards.
- Review construction documents for accuracy and ensure owner supplied materials are ordered and delivered per project schedule.
- Oversee third party construction vendors and partners and lead weekly coordination calls.
- Monitor GC weekly reports for compliance and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage budgets and maintain accurate historical records to improve forecasting and future budget accuracy.
- Support annual planning and budgeting for future projects.
- Negotiate contracts and optimize vendor performance for cost efficiency without compromising quality.
- Support RFP process in partnership with procurement.
- Lead collaborative project hindsight meetings and implementation of any process changes based on these learnings.
- Develop and refine tools, processes, and vendor relationships to support long-term regional success.
- Contribute to other regional initiatives as needed.
- Oversee facilities teammates responsible for maintenance programs and vendor relationships to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Implement preventive maintenance strategies and manage emergency repairs with speed and efficiency.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to direct reports and influence cross-functional partners. Drive operational excellence and ensure alignment with Under Armour’s strategic priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in construction project management and facilities operations, ideally in retail or multi-site environments.
- Strong knowledge of construction process and best practices.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Excellent leadership, collaboration, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CAD or BIM a plus.
- Some travel required.
