About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Curriculum Development: Design and maintain syllabi aligned with departmental expectation and established course blueprints.
  • Instructional Delivery: Lead lesson planning and facilitate instruction via Brightspace LMS or other instructional software.
  • Student Support: Maintain regular correspondence, hold office hours, and provide timely grading and feedback.
  • Professional Collaboration: Attend course coordination meetings with the Associate Dean of Graduate Education and complete required orientations and trainings.
  • Modality Note: Courses are offered predominantly online, utilizing both synchronous and asynchronous formats.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Education: Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of two years of Early Childhood teaching experience.
  • Teaching Experience: At least one year of in-person, online, and/or hybrid teaching experience at the college level.
