About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and teach online courses at the undergraduate level of the curriculum.
- Syllabus development aligned with departmental expectations.
- Lesson planning, assignment design, grading, and office hours.
- Correspondence with students using online learning management system and/or other instructional software.
- Participation in course coordination meetings with other faculty members.
- Orientation and training as required.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Licensed as a land surveyor in the United States.
- A Bachelor of Science (or higher) degree in surveying engineering technology or a closely related discipline by date of hire.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Have performed effectively in remote and in-person collaborative team environments.
- Masters or Doctoral degree in a surveying engineering technology related discipline (preferred).
- Prior successful teaching experience in surveying or engineering practices (preferred).
- Experience working with diverse populations (preferred).
