About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and teach online courses at the undergraduate level of the curriculum.
Syllabus development aligned with departmental expectations.
Lesson planning, assignment design, grading, and office hours.
Correspondence with students using online learning management system and/or other instructional software.
Participation in course coordination meetings with other faculty members.
Orientation and training as required.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Licensed as a land surveyor in the United States.
A Bachelor of Science (or higher) degree in surveying engineering technology or a closely related discipline by date of hire.
Excellent communication skills.
Have performed effectively in remote and in-person collaborative team environments.
Masters or Doctoral degree in a surveying engineering technology related discipline (preferred).
Prior successful teaching experience in surveying or engineering practices (preferred).
Experience working with diverse populations (preferred).
