About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • supports the execution and optimization of the University of Maine’s digital marketing efforts for student recruitment and institutional marketing campaigns
  • responsible for managing paid media, improving campaign performance, and ensuring that digital marketing efforts effectively reach and convert target audiences
  • serves as a central resource for digital marketing execution, working in close partnership with Enrollment Management, academic units, and program-level marketers
  • collaborates with colleagues supporting graduate and online initiatives to align strategy and execution
  • may lead select campaigns in these areas as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing, paid media, or performance marketing.
  • Experience managing paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and Meta.
  • Strong understanding of conversion optimization, A/B testing, and campaign performance analysis.
  • Familiarity with digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and attribution models.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in decentralized organizations.
  • Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, TargetX, or similar)
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Looker Studio
  • Experience with tracking tools such as Google Tag Manager
