About the role
- Provide support for the USM Disease Prevention Epidemiology (DP Epi) Team.
- Manage a wide range of fiscal, operations, and project management activities of the DP Epi Team cooperative agreements and contracts.
- Work closely with the DP Epi Leadership to ensure timely completion of project tasks and deliverables.
- Contribute to building epidemiology capacity in chronic disease, maternal and child health, and substance use and injury.
Requirements
- Master's Degree and five to seven years of experience managing projects or equivalent combination of higher education and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large projects and budgets over $1 million with multiple funding streams.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative to identify and propose new tasks and procedures.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work on a variety of large and small teams with diverse groups of people.
- Flexibility in meeting the varied needs of a large team.
- Excellent customer service skills.
