About the role
- Develop, customize, and maintain NetSuite applications using SuiteScript (1.0/2.x), SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteAnalytics.
- Configure and enhance existing NetSuite modules such as Financials, Procurement, Order Management, Inventory, and CRM.
- Design and implement integrations between NetSuite and external systems using REST, SOAP, and iPaaS tools (e.g., Celigo, Dell Boomi, Mulesoft).
- Serve as the primary liaison for Finance, Accounting, Tax, Procurement, and Business teams (Operational Technology, Reporting, Data, Integrations) on system-related needs, issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support to end users.
- Participate in end-to-end project lifecycle including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring systems function correctly and operational issues are resolved quickly.
- Work closely with the Technical Lead to prioritize enhancements, manage testing/UAT, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Champion process improvements by identifying opportunities to automate manual tasks, streamline workflows, and improve data accuracy and visibility.
Requirements
- 6+ years hands-on functional experience with NetSuite (configuration, workflows, reporting, permissions).
- Deep knowledge of finance and accounting processes (AP, AR, GL, close, procurement, fixed assets, project accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting).
- Familiarity with systems such as NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB), Oracle FCCS, Avalara, FloQast, and Rillion.
- Strong proficiency in SuiteScript 1.0/2.x and NetSuite customization tools.
- Knowledge of integration technologies and APIs (RESTlet, SOAP Web Services).
- Familiarity with JavaScript, JSON, HTML, and SQL.
- Experience with workflow automation and business process mapping.
- Experience with NetSuite modules (e.g., Financials, SCM, CRM).
- Experience gathering business requirements and delivering functional solutions in NetSuite.
- Strong problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with iPaaS tools (Celigo, Boomi, Mulesoft)
- Experience in a multi-entity, global, or fast-scaling environment.
- Strong knowledge of NetSuite capabilities (saved searches, SuiteAnalytics, reports, workflows, approval routing).
- Experience with ERP implementations, upgrades, or integrations.
