About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Inspect finished goods to ensure stamping, packaging, and labeling standards are met
  • Follow all safety rules and guidelines
  • Produce products meeting Umicore quality standards and customer specifications
  • Keep the work area and other areas clean and organized
  • Uphold, respect, and ensure compliance with company health and safety standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Grade 12 diploma
  • 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of 5S is a plus
  • Computer literacy, preferably with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of SAP and experience in quality environment systems are preferred
  • Criminal Record Check required
  • Highly motivated
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to show initiative and innovative thinking
  • Comfortable standing for long periods of time
  • Batch-making experience is an asset
  • Ability to work alone
