About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform import, customs entry (domestication) and export routines, issuing documentation required by federal, state and municipal authorities
- Monitor processes to secure customs clearances and provide reliable information in response to legal requirements
- Liaise with regulatory agencies, carriers, insurers, clients and foreign suppliers
- Select the most appropriate mode of transport for each shipment from a catalogue of pre-approved and certified suppliers
- Assist in the preparation of purchase, sales and financing contracts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics or related fields
- English B1 - intermediate level
- Experience with international trade operations
- Familiarity with customs and ICMS legislation as applied to the Manaus Free Trade Zone (ZFM)
- Knowledge of SISCOMEX
