Senior Category Manager – Logistics

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and implement the global category strategy for Logistics
- Lead complex sourcing initiatives and contract negotiations
- Optimize logistics networks, cost structures, and supply chain resilience
- Analyze markets and risks
- Build and manage strategic supplier partnerships both internal as with the supplier community
- Ensure compliance, governance, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate closely with international stakeholders across supply chain, production, and business units
- Contribute to the ongoing transformation of procurement
- Lead and develop team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s/Diploma degree in Logistics, Economics, or related field
- 5–7 years of experience in strategic procurement / category management (preferably in logistics)
- Experience in an international production environment
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and commercial acumen
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Fluent in English spoken and written (must-have), Dutch and/or French are a plus, additional international languages are an advantage
- Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset
