About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide hands-on mechanical and electrical maintenance support to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant equipment
  • Responsible for troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and supporting capital and reliability improvement initiatives
  • Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on plant equipment
  • Complete assigned work orders safely and efficiently
  • Execute preventive maintenance (PM) tasks to improve reliability and uptime
  • Maintain and repair electrical systems, motors, control panels, and instrumentation
  • Support installation and commissioning of new electrical systems and equipment
  • Diagnose electrical faults and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain pumps, valves, conveyors, rotating equipment, and mechanical systems
  • Perform alignment, lubrication, and mechanical repairs
  • Support compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements
  • Participate in PHAs, HAZOPs, SOP development, and safety reviews
  • Follow OSHA and site safety procedures at all times
  • Identify and implement improvements to reduce downtime and improve performance
  • Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and process optimization
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Contractors
  • Support training and skill development across the maintenance team
  • Foster teamwork and knowledge sharing across disciplines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate’s degree, technical certification (Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical), OR equivalent experience
  • 2–5 years of maintenance experience (mechanical, electrical, or both) required
  • 5–10 years of industrial/plant experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills (rotating equipment, piping, valves)
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and instrumentation
  • Experience with preventive maintenance systems and work order management
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar systems preferred
