About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Guard the integrity of the general ledger
Ensure accuracy in financial data and proper accounting procedures
Prepare accurate and timely monthly IFRS financial statements
Ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards and internal controls
Prepare tax filings and reporting in coordination with the TAX team
Participate as SME in review, optimization, automation of certain RTR processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
At least 5 years’ experience of accounting process operating requirements
Knowledge of Belgian GAAP; knowledge of French GAAP is a strong plus
Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French are an asset
Strong analytical skills; organized and detail minded
Capable of analyzing numerical data; able to challenge and improve processes
