About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead technical support and development projects for Korean customers
- Coordinate product industrialization and ensure compliance with automotive standards (IATF 16949, PPAP)
- Act as the key technical liaison between local customers and global Umicore teams
- Monitor fuel cell and electrolysis market trends and competitor activities
- Attend technical conferences and collaborate with universities and government partners
- Support global business development initiatives with local market insights
- Collaborate with R&D, sales, and industrialization teams to meet customer requirements
- Contribute to global internal projects as a Korean market expert
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry or Engineering
- Korean & English fluency required for both written and spoken
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in Fuel Cell application, especially MEA design, testing and optimization
- Deep understanding of automotive supply industry standards
- Strong project management and customer support skills
- Additional language skills are a plus
