About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review, draft, and negotiate terms with third-party suppliers for a wide variety of services
Partner closely with internal stakeholders including Legal, Risk, Compliance, Information Security, Finance, and Business Operations to ensure contract terms meet applicable standards
Use contracts management software to generate and document all third-party supplier contracts
Work with finance and associated business unit to budget and track new spend and ongoing renewals
Assist internal stakeholders with vendor research as needed to support company initiatives
Coordinate and participate in meetings with internal stakeholders and third-party supplier representatives during contract negotiations
Support UMB end users with comprehension of contract terms related to moderately complex agreements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree and 5 years experience in contracts/legal, risk, procurement, financial services or other relevant experience OR Advanced degree and 2 years related experience in contracts/legal, procurement, financial services, or other relevant experience
Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) or hold other relevant industry certifications (preferred)
Experienced with negotiating software license agreements, cloud computing agreements, or other technology related contracts
