About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Properly performs all CT scan examinations appropriate to the age of the patient
  • Gathers pertinent clinical data and maintains accurate patient records
  • Accurately completes all records, paperwork and billing
  • Positions and transfers patients appropriately
  • Completes exams, performs QC on images
  • Assists in maintaining an orderly inventory of necessary supplies
  • Assists with urgent exam requests and scheduling
  • Establishes IV access for contrast injection as directed
  • Travels between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton as scheduled

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduate of an accredited radiological program
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or NMTCB certified in diagnostic CT
  • Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting
  • Verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with patients and families
