About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Properly performs all CT scan examinations appropriate to the age of the patient
- Gathers pertinent clinical data and maintains accurate patient records
- Accurately completes all records, paperwork and billing
- Positions and transfers patients appropriately
- Completes exams, performs QC on images
- Assists in maintaining an orderly inventory of necessary supplies
- Assists with urgent exam requests and scheduling
- Establishes IV access for contrast injection as directed
- Travels between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton as scheduled
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of an accredited radiological program
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or NMTCB certified in diagnostic CT
- Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting
- Verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with patients and families
